FAQ

How long is the course?

The orthodontic assisting program is a hybrid program that is 8 consecutive weeks. Students will meet at the school every Saturday from 8 AM-5 PM for instruction and hands on training. The remainder of the week students will review their notes from the previous class and practice working on their typodonts.

What time do classes meet?

Classes will meet each Saturday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The first half of the class will be lecture/academic followed by a break from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. for lunch then hands on/clinical training from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Students will be expected to be in class 10 minutes prior to start time and have all materials ready and prepared for class.

How much does the program cost?

Our program is $3500 plus a $500 refundable materials deposit. If all materials (instruments, typodont, etc.) are returned in working order upon completion of the class the deposit will be refunded.

Are there payment plans available?

We can arrange payment plans. Please contact us for further details if this is needed.

What credentials will I receive upon completion of the course?

You will receive X-Ray certification as well as a Certificate of Completion as an orthodontic assistant.

How much do Orthodontic Assistants make?

Orthodontic Assistants can earn between $18-30 an hour, depending on your location.
